Beddy visits the Conisborough Castle – Doncaster

Monday, August 5th, 2013

I visited the Conisborough Castle yesterday, and it was brilliant!!!

We learnt that it was built in 1070 which was shortly after the huge battle of Hastings where two armies were fighting for the country of England.

Sadly the castle has fallen down now and there is only one tall building which is called a keep which the goodies would use to kill the baddies.

I would highly recommend a visit!

LinQy visits John Smith Stadium – Huddersfield

Friday, July 19th, 2013

Yesterday my cousin LinQy and I visited the John Smith stadium, which is the home ground to football team Huddersfield Town.

It is also the home of Huddersfield Giants Rugby Union team!

We learned that it has 24,500 seats for the home and away supporters to sit in.

That’s a lot of people!!

We also learnt that the ground was opened 19years ago! Which is a lot older than you and me?

Beddy visits The National Railway Museum

Thursday, March 14th, 2013

I visited the National railway Museum the other day; you can discover 300 years of history and 1,000,000 objects that changed the world. It was so much fun learning about the railway. Do you like the railway?  You can even play with the trains; they come in all shapes and sizes. Some are really small whereas others are huge and you can even sit in them! You should definitely go if you have the chance!

LinQy Visits… Xscape

Thursday, August 30th, 2012

Today I visited Xscape in Castleford, it was a brilliant day out and I did a range of activities, first I went skiing and then had lunch, after I went to the cinema, did some rock climbing and then finished with some shopping.

There are lots more to do there, too much to do in one day! I want to go back again sometime and go to the Lazerzone.

Beddy And LinQy Visit… Lightwater Valley

Thursday, August 16th, 2012

Today I’ve been to Lightwater Valley with LinQy! We had lots of fun experiencing the chills and thrills and even went on the Wild River Rapids which we got soaked on but were both shiny and clean now!

The Eagle’s Claw was the best ride by far but LinQy was scared and didn’t want to go on so I had to go alone!

We had an amazing time and can’t wait to go to the next theme park!
