Beddy visits… Bakewell

Thursday, August 25th, 2011

Today we visited a place called Bakewell while out on some deliveries.

Bakewell is well known for Bakewell Pudding (also known as Bakewell Tart). We visited Chatsworth House and had a look around the displays. We also saw the 105 acre garden, which was huge with lots of flower beds and green grass.

Wednesday, August 17th, 2011

Today on our deliveries, Emily and I visited one of the largest open air markets in Britain which is in Chesterfield.

We also visited the ‘Crooked Spire’ and had a Birdseye view over Chesterfield!

Beddy visits… Ripon

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

Today we visited Fountains Abbey in Ripon, North Yorkshire.

It was very interesting to look at the old ruins and we found out that it was founded in 1132, following a dispute and riot at St Mary’s Abbey in York.

Beddy visits… Hull

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011

On my deliveries I stopped in a city called Hull.

While I was there I drove along the Humber Bridge and visited the KC stadium which was really fun. The city is different from others I have been too because I was surprised to see they have cream telephone boxes in the city instead of red!
