Today LinQy and I took a trip to a city in North Yorkshire, York. 
York is home to York Minster, the Jorvic Viking museum and the National Rail Museum. 4 million visitors visit York every year and in 2007 York won the award of European Tourism City of the Year!
York is a lovely city with lots of old buildings and a big river, there is also a street called ‘The Shambles’ which looks very old-fashioned.
York has been named as one of the most haunted cities which is a scary thought! Apparently there are 140 ghosts haunting York… but we didn’t see any!
